A new discovery for me (via Spotify), New York band School of Seven Bells – who sound a fair bit like the Shadow Orchestra in our finest moments. Here’s Half Asleep, a lovely mix of ethereal vocal and electronica:
I’ve just ordered their 2008 album Alpinisms, and am really looking forward to listening to it properly… probably on an endless loop in the car on the way to and from gigs, as is my wont.
