He played this Buraka Som Sistema track when, I went to hear him at the Big Chill Bar a week or two ago, and I loved it straight away. I’ve since bought their awesome album Black Diamond, and it’s been on heavy rotation on the CD player. Think Afro-Portuguese dance music with filthy basslines, and you’re almost there.
(NB Rather bizzarely, there’s about 2 mins of silence at the end of this video. I have no idea why.)
